McNash joins Gloucester Planning Department

Sean M. McNash joined the Gloucester County Planning Department as its newest planner on Dec. 2.

 

Anne Ducey-Ortiz, director of planning and zoning, said that McNash will review plats and plans and be “the front counter person, if we had a counter.” She said McNash’s environmental background while at Ohio State University will be of help drafting some code amendments that might be logical follow-ups to the comprehensive plan that’s being updated.

 

Also, Ducey-Ortiz said that he may work on identifying possible changes to the county’s Highway Corridor Overlay District.

 

McNash earned his master’s degree at Ohio State in May. He also earned a bachelor’s degree at OSU.

 

McNash, 24, said he applied for this job because of the environmental challenges of working in the Chesapeake Bay region.
