McGuire to speak to Chesapeake Bay Writers

Novelist Stephen McGuire will participate in an interview with Chesapeake Bay Writers’ president Sonja McGiboney from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, via an online platform. He will discuss the writing of his psychological thriller “Fractured Power.”

McGuire had a legal career spanning more than 30 years, serving as an attorney and federal judge in Washington, D.C. He retired in 2008 as the Chief Administrative Law Judge at the Federal Trade Commission, receiving the commission’s Distinguished Service Award. He was honored by President George W. Bush for his service to the nation’s judiciary.

Over time, McGuire has had extensive speaking engagements in bookstores, libraries, country clubs, civic associations, art centers, and radio shows in Southwest Florida, where he resides in the city of Naples with his wife, Doris. For more information about him, visit stephenmcguireauthor.com.
