Maureen Tyler Coar, age 80, of Mathews, died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Coar, and is survived by her son, Darren Tyler (Denise); daughter, Justine Tyler; stepdaughter, Gwen DeForest (Chris); grandchildren, Nichole Wenner (Owen), Willie Fernald. Private graveside services were held on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020. In memory of our loved one, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, Tennessee 38101.
