A memorial service for Matthew Charles Fortin, 48, of Gloucester, was held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. He died Dec. 11, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur; grandfather, Albert Sweeney, and stepdaughter, Laura Billardo. 

Survivors include his wife, Maria; sons, Laine and Liam; stepdaughter, Stefany; mother, Alberta Fortin; sister, Deann Holloway; grandmother, Myrle Sweeney, and two grandchildren. 

He was a former Marine.
