The 25th annual Mattaponi Indian Tribe and Reservation Pow Wow will be held on Saturday, June 17, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 1314 Mattaponi Reservation Circle in West Point.
Learn about the Mattaponi Indian Tribe’s history and culture through dancing and drumming, artisans and exhibits. There will also be food and drinks available.
The Chesapeake Trail will have a table at the event. Stop by to discuss internship opportunities for Indigenous youth in the National Park Service.Admission to the event is $5 per person.
