Members of the Mathews County Woman’s Club, meeting on April 13, spent the day making decoupage oyster shells under the guidance of Virginia Coyle from the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews. At right, club member Martha Ellen Traband (seated) shows her completed oyster ornament, with Coyle standing. “We had a lot of fun, and came away with cute ornaments to display,” said incoming president Liz Bateman. The club also voted on its officers for the coming year.
