Mathews teachers may attend conference without penalty

At a meeting of the County School Board, held at Mathews C.H. on Nov. 15, it was decided to allow all teachers who desire to attend the annual teachers’ conference which meets in Richmond on Nov. 22nd to 28th, to do so without having to make up the time lost. This, with the understanding however, that they attend each day, the sessions of the conference. Otherwise they will be required to make up lost time. The board further decided to send one member of East District Board as a delegate to the Conference.
