Mathews supervisors to meet Tuesday

The Mathews Board of Supervisors will consider three requests for conditional use permits at its meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse.

Alandus Ware of Ware Towing & Auto Service has requested a permit to conduct an auto service business at 3890 Buckley Hall Road, David and Kali Perkins are requesting a permit to place a Middle Peninsula Gateway Communications telecommunications tower at 7565 New Point Comfort Highway, and the Julia A. Anderson Trust has applied for a permit to use a licensed travel-trailer as a temporary home at 1295 Tabernacle Road.

The board will hear reports from Sean Trapani with the Virginia Department of Transportation and from Sheila Pillath of the Mathews Family YMCA, as well as from the school administration, planning and zoning, and the sheriff’s office.
