The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

The light agenda includes department reports by the school superintendent, VDOT’s resident engineer, the planning and zoning director, the sheriff, and the chief of HRSD’s small communities division.

On the agenda under the county administrator’s report are votes on resolutions supporting applications for enhancement grant funds for Main Street and Fort Nonsense, consideration of the 2010-2011 budget adoption schedule, an abstract of the votes in the recent election, and a request for tax relief from the Friends of the Mathews Memorial Library.

Finally, the board will hold a work session on the proposed 2030 Comprehensive Plan that was recommended for approval last month by the planning commission.
