Mathews supervisors will take a first look at next year’s budget during a budget work session to be held at 1 p.m. next Thursday, March 29, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

County Administrator Mindy Conner said she will present the board with a baseline budget that includes all requests made by various departments, agencies and organizations, along with information about what revenue it would take to support those requests.
