Mathews County School Board chairman John Priest, member Linda Hodges and Superintendent of Schools Nancy Welch joined other school officials from across the commonwealth to take part in a June 5 Virtual School Law Conference presented by the Virginia School Boards Association.

The virtual conference offered legal guidance on several important topics including human resources, transgender students, implicit bias training, and an update on education legislation, a VSBA release stated.
