The Mathews County School Board will hold a budget work session at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Mathews High School Media Center. 

This is the second budget work session for the 2019-2020 budget; an initial budget session was held prior to the board’s December regular monthly meeting.

Following Tuesday’s budget work session, the school board will hold its regular January meeting at 6, also in the MHS Media Center. A public hearing on the draft budget will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29 in the MHS Media Center, and the school board’s annual retreat will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31 in the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad building at Hudgins. ...
