The Mathews Rotary Club will hold its 14th annual Rockfish Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 13 with weigh-in from 2 to 4 p.m. on both days.
Captains’ registration and reception will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, starting at 5 p.m. The tournament will be held at Morningstar Marinas on Gwynn’s Island, which donates their facilities for the event. Chesapeake Bank and Noble Pest Control are also event sponsors. Proceeds from the tournament will fund Mathews Rotary’s efforts in supporting organizations within Mathews County.

The Captains’ registration reception and raffle on Dec. 11 will be held at the Piankatank Ruritan Club in Hudgins from 5 to 8 p.m. Dinner and desserts, along with soft drinks served. Beer and wine will be available at the cash bar.
