Mathews Rotary Club now accepting grant applications for community projects

Mathews Rotary Club is taking applications for two types of grants in supporting the club’s efforts in the county.

The first is a local Mathews community service project grant for a nonprofit organization which includes up to $1,500 and potential labor to complete. The second grant is for nonprofit organizations in Mathews that seek funding to help accomplish their missions.

The club’s criteria for its community service grant include that the proposed project should benefit the overall Mathews community, require some labor that Rotary can provide and is to be completed by the end of June 2022. The criteria for the nonprofit mission’s requests are the same, but are for lesser funding and do not require any Rotary labor to complete.
