Mathews County Registrar Carla Faulkner has set up a Facebook page, “Mathews Votes,” to provide residents with regular updates on deadlines and legislative action regarding voting, along with other information to help residents exercise their right to vote.

Faulkner said that residents who wish to register to vote may visit her office in the county administration building on Brickbat Road or any DMV customer service center. In addition, a registration application can be filled out online. However, while a resident may apply at the DMV and online, he or she isn’t registered until Faulkner receives and processes the application.
