The Mathews County Planning Commission will discuss possible text amendments to the zoning ordinance affecting vacation rental properties during a meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.

The planning commission is in the beginning stages of its mandated five-year review of the county’s comprehensive plan, and there will be a discussion of the proposed scope of work for that review.
