The Mathews Branch NAACP #7090 will hold a candidate forum on Wednesday, Oct. 18.

The forum will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Cobbs Creek Art Center, 61 Cobbs Creek Lane. All candidates for the Mathews County Board of Supervisors and Mathews County School Board have been invited to participate, a release said.

Candidates for other offices are also invited to introduce themselves.

The school board forum will be from 6:30-8 p.m., followed by the board of supervisors’ forum from 8-9:30 p.m.

The Rev. Dr. Marcus Stallworth, pastor of the Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church at Cobbs Creek, will moderate the forum. Members of the audience will be invited to ask questions.
