After a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mathews Market Days is back.

The festival, a Mathews tradition since 1975, will be held on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9 and 10, on and around the Historic Court Green at Church and Court streets and Brickbat Road.

Market Days Committee chair Morgan Hudgins has issued an invitation for arts and crafts, food, and information vendors to submit their applications, available at mathewsmarketdays.org.

Applications must be mailed by July 1, along with payment, according to the website. Vendor applications postmarked after the July 1 deadline will require a $25 late fee.
