The Mathews Lions Club is currently selling tickets for a shrimp dinner sale it is holding on Saturday, July 31.
For $30, people will receive two pounds of cooked shrimp, along with coleslaw and other “fixins.” The meals will be available for pickup between noon and 3 p.m. on July 31 at the old Texaco Station next to the Mathews Post Office.
To reserve tickets, call 804-505-1361 or pay by PayPal at Mathewslions@hotmail.com. The event will be held, rain or shine. The sale is limited to the first 300 tickets sold.
