Mathews Library offers Voyage Through Time summer program

Mathews Memorial Library’s summer program for children and young adults, Voyage Through Time, will explore a lot of exciting topics during the month of July, raising questions for discussion and exploration.
“Do you like stories? Have you ever thought you’d like to build a boat? Do you wonder why fossils exist on the beach or where jellyfish come from? Do you think farming is old-fashioned, or have you heard that things are changing?” are just a few of the questions that will be delved into during this expedition into the past, present, and future world of Mathews.
A multi-faceted program, Voyage Through Time will provide participants the opportunity to learn about their community, said a press release—about what it was like in the past, what it is today, and what it should be like in the future. Both traditional and new technology tools will be incorporated into the month-long program.
