The Mathews Family YMCA is holding its Lunch with a Purpose fundraiser on Thursday, Dec. 3. For $10 a lunch, participants will enjoy a pulled pork barbecue meal and helping a good cause, too.

“When you purchase lunch from the Y you’re not only feeding your body, you’re feeding your soul by making an investment in your community through the Y,” a release from the Mathews Family YMCA said.

The lunch includes the barbecue sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw and a dessert. Orders are due by Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. The lunches will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 3.
