Mathews County adds three new employees

Mathews County has recently welcomed three new staff members: two in administration and one in the building official's office.

Chuck Huntley, the county’s new director of technology, will manage and maintain all of the county’s technological systems, including computers, servers, and other network components.

Huntley previously held similar positions in Essex County and Richmond County. He lives in Middlesex County with his wife, Nicole, who is an instructional technology resource teacher for Middlesex County Public Schools.

Caroline Oxley will serve as the deputy clerk to the board of supervisors and the county’s communications manager. She will maintain records and the county website, handling social media and public relations, and serving as back-up for board of supervisors’ clerk Julie Kaylor.
