The Mathews County School Board will hold its first work session on the 2021-2022 budget at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School.
The work session will be followed at 6 with the school board’s regular monthly meeting, also in the same location.
A second work session on the budget will be held on Jan. 19, with a public hearing the following Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Following a Feb. 2 joint dinner meeting with supervisors, the school board is planning to adopt its 2021-2022 budget at the Feb. 16 monthly meeting.
