Gloucester Extension Master Gardeners’ president Steve Faherty, center, presented milestone certificates and pins recognizing 250 hours of volunteer service to Master Gardeners Laurie Hoffman, at left, and Marion Baker at the group’s Aug. 4 meeting. Also during the meeting, the Master Gardeners welcomed $1,000 scholarship recipient Emma Lynch. Lynch completed her senior year at Gloucester High School while managing a dual enrollment at Rappahannock Community College. She plans to transfer to Virginia Tech to study Ecology Restoration.
