Jodie Hence has joined the staff at Bridgewaters Salon & Spa, located at The Shops on Hickory Fork, White Marsh.
Hence is a massage therapist. She specializes in therapeutic deep tissue massage. Most of her work is done in the salon, but she occasionally offers in-home massages for senior citizens.
Hence said she became interested in massage since she has benefited from it while suffering from lupus, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Massage and holistic healing have proved helpful for her own health, she said.
Hence has six years’ massage therapy experience. She previously was an independent contractor for another Gloucester business. She is a graduate of Kee Business College. Originally from Gloucester, she is a graduate of Gloucester High School. Hence resides in Gloucester and has three children.
