A graveside service for Mary Thrift Wise, 92, of Charlotte, N.C., was held Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery in Charlotte. She died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.

Mrs. Wise grew up in Gloucester County and lived in Baltimore, Md., and Charlotte, with her late husband, Earl N. Wise, and family.

Survivors include two children, including Nathan E. Wise of Gloucester; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
