Mary Margaret Howell, 76, of Gloucester, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. 

She was born in Washington, D.C., and was the daughter of the late Evirn and Catherine Walker Mason. She had been a caregiver for many years. 

Survivors include her husband, Rex B. Howell Sr.; her son, Dennis Thompson, and her daughter, Deborah Paddock.

Funeral services will be private.
