A memorial service for Mary Margaret “Midge” Haywood, 62, of Mathews, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Lebanon Christian Church, Newport News, Virginia. She died on Oct. 29, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Haywood of Mathews; her mother, Thelma Louise Johnson of Hudgins, Virginia, and her brother, William Edsel Brown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Survivors include her children, Christopher Cleary, Stephanie Snyder and Megan Thompson; her sister, Janet Warren; brothers, Howard and Gene Brown, and seven grandchildren.
