A memorial service for Mary Harris Field, 86, of Gloucester, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester. She died Monday, Nov. 6, 2017.

She was born in Newport News, and was the daughter of the late Milton T. Harris Sr. and Marguerita Dodd Harris.  

She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Catesby Todd Field Jr., and her son, John M. Field.

Survivors include sons, Thomas T. Field, W. Howard Field, and George R. Field; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

The service will be conducted by the Rev. Mike Derflinger.
