Mary H. Harris, age 92, of Hayes, widow of Joseph Ruben Harris, died on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, in Gloucester. Ms. Harris retired from Lou Smith Supermarket. Children, James Harris (Sue), Michael Harris (Cheryl), and Donald Harris preceded her in death. She is survived by children, Gerald Harris (Susan), Robert Harris (Sharon), Lewis Harris (LeeAnn); 11 grandchildren, Jamie Harris, Joey Harris, Jason Harris (Jill), Craig Harris (Danielle), Chris Harris, Nicholas Harris (Karrie), Steven Harris (Amy), Rebecca Shaffner (Thomas), Shawn Hogge, Kayla Paige, Seth Graham; 12 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden, Joe, Jordan, Elaina, Hunter, Logan, Arden, Bryson, Audrey, Graham, and Thessaly. A graveside service officiated by Pastor Bill West was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at Gloucester Point Cemetery. Family and friends gathered at the cemetery.
