Mary C. Wood, 86, of Gloucester, moved on to reunite with her loved ones who have gone before her in the early morning hours of Feb. 9, 2018. She passed away peacefully at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital surrounded by her family.

Mary was born in Tombs County, Georgia, on Dec. 29, 1931. She was predeceased by her husband, Euthern Wood; son, Bennett Wood; daughter-in-law, Grace Wood, and several brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by her children, David Wood, Alan Wood and wife Evelyn, Lanell Jarvis and husband Nelson, Diane Johnson and husband Terry; daughter-in-law, Ruth Wood; grandchildren, Karen Yarley (Steve), Angela Mosher (Brandon), Amy Burgener (Matthew), Diane Spring, John Jarvis, Virginia Jarvis, A.J. Hamilton, and great-grandchildren, Bianca and Shane Mosher, Alexis and Aaron Yarley. 

The family received guests from 1-2 p.m. on Feb. 12 at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services were at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Dr. Douglas Nagel. Burial was in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
