Martin, Baker medal at golf competition

Gloucester High School golfers Hunter Martin and Cameron Baker were the co-medalists at the Kiskiack Golf Club last Thursday, each with rounds of 77. Trent Green shot an 80 for the Dukes and Grady Baker had an 83 for a team score of 317. 

Menchville was second in the match with 348 and Warwick was third with 389. Also representing Gloucester at Kiskiack were Nathan Gross and Davey Grimm, each with scores of 85. 

The match scheduled for Tuesday at The Hamptons was cancelled due to rain. With one more match remaining, Gloucester continues to lead the Peninsula District and is ahead of second place Menchville by 232 strokes. 

The final regular season match is scheduled for today at the Woodlands. The Conference 10 Tournament is slated for Monday and Tuesday at The Hamptons.  ...
