Martha Elizabeth Hewitt, 93, of Mathews, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Nov. 15, 2015.

Martha was a registered nurse and spent her life serving others. She enjoyed reading, shopping and fellowship. She loved Jesus so much, we can only imagine the joyous reunion.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hewitt, and her daughter, Barbara Lanaux.

Martha was a longtime member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Mathews.

A graveside service conducted by the Rev. Chris Morgan will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at the First United Baptist Church Cemetery, Gloucester. Friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
