The official poster for Mathews Market Days will be unveiled at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Bay School Community Arts Center, Mathews.

The poster will be sold at the 41st annual Market Days, to be held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 11 and 12, on and around Mathews Court Green.

Eight artists submitted posters with the theme “Sunrise/Sunset Mathews Style,” said poster contest chair Suzi Maloney.

Contending are Min Ja Burns, 2014 poster winner; Mary Herz, Arthur Miller and Jane Partin, who have entered previously, and first time-entrants Mary Lou Haase, Martha Anne King, Sabrina Myers and Janice Hall Nuckolls.

All artists are expected to be at the unveiling on Sunday, a release said. The winning poster will also be featured on the 2016 cover of Mathews FYI, an annual publication of local information.
