A service for Mark E. Gerlach, 67, of Virginia Beach, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Onemo. He died Jan. 10, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip L. and Elva D. Gerlach.

Survivors include sisters, Barbara Bass of Mathews and Claudia Temple of Virginia Beach, formerly of Mathews.

A small reception will follow the service.
