MARK ARNOLD ROBINS

Mark Arnold Robins, a native of Gloucester, died Aug. 30, 2018 at home with his family. He was 61 years young.

He was passionate about coaching and umpiring at Gloucester Youth Baseball and Gloucester Youth Football. Mark loved to play golf, spend time at horse tracks, and travel with his friends and family. Nothing defined the contours of his life more than his love for his children, grandchildren and family.

Parents, Earl F. Robins Sr., Virginia Rilee, and brother, Russ Robins, preceded him in death.

Mark is survived by his wife, Cindy; two sons, Chris (Andrea), Austin (Megan) Robins, and four grandchildren, Bryce, Logan, Eleanor and Scarlett. He has 10 siblings, LaVerne (Sparky) Willard, RaNaye Cameron, Earl (Barbie) Robins Jr., VaNessa Caldwell, ReGina Custis (Danny), Neil Robins, LeNora Cole, Jennifer Simpson, Jason (Kim) Robins and Victoria (Brad) Skelding. There are a host of nieces and nephews that he adored. Mark’s greatest friend was his faithful canine companion, Stella Mae.

We would like to thank Dr. Zullo for his kindness, honesty and caring support; Dana Blake for her knowledge and smiles through his illness; Kacki Haggerty for her love and support; Riverside Cancer Center, and hospice for making the process a little easier.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Douglas Nagel.
