Marjorie E. Hutson, age 91, of Arlington, Mass., formerly of Mathews, Va., passed away on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Lexington Health Care Center.

She was the devoted and loving wife of the late William Alvah Hutson. Mother of Sarah Ellen Swiger and her husband Bill, Mary Lynne Manjourides and her husband Chris, and the late Gloria Faye Waddell and her husband Doyce (Bob). Grandmother of Charles William Swiger, Elizabeth Anne Teichman and her husband Tali, and Callie Margaret Swiger.

Marjorie was a nurse’s aide at a nursing home in New Point, Va. for years. She was a lifelong avid reader, loved tending to her flowers, and enjoyed bird watching. Her main love and joy was her family and friends.

The family received friends Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Susan.

A memorial service will be held in her honor in Winchester, Mass., once the family returns (details to come).
