Margie Pierce Snow of Mathews County, was born Dec. 3, 1921 and died Sept. 25, 2021.

She was a dedicated member of Beulah United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for family and friends. She also assisted her husband with the operation of Snow’s Dock on Davis Creek.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben Samuel and Eva Foster Pierce; husband, Capt. W. Maurice Snow Sr.; sisters, Elva Dize, Doris Edwards, Mabel Simpson, Josephine Clark, and Annie R. Collier, and brothers, Henley Pierce and Jack Stillman.

She is survived by a son, William M. Snow Jr. (Shirley); daughter, Linda S. Horsley (Lewis); granddaughter, Carol S. Hendley (Robert); sister, Frances Ward (Jack); brother, John Robert Pierce (Peggy), and sister-in-law, Mildred S. Stillman.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at Foster-Faulkner, Mathews, followed by a funeral service at 2 o’clock. Services will conclude with burial at Friendship Cemetery, Susan.
