MARGARET KELLUM COX

Margaret Kellum Cox, 84, of Hayes, died at her home on Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Margaret was the daughter of the late Walter and Eugie Haywood Kellum, and a lifelong native of Gloucester.

Margaret was a member and leader of Church of God, Maryus. She was a godly woman of great faith, who loved her Lord and her family. Margaret was retired from Farm Fresh after many years of service. She enjoyed helping everyone and she will be missed by everyone.

She was also preceded in death by her husbands, James O. Cox Sr. and Clarence Cox; son, James O. Cox Jr.; daughter, Bonnie Cox Hogge; grandson, Ronald Bonniville; sister, Christine West; brothers, Stillman Kellum, Vendell Kellum Sr. and Thomas E. Kellum.

She is survived by her daughter, Pat Bonniville and husband Horace; sisters, Sallie Cox, and Catherine Langner and husband Ben; grandchildren, Rodney and wife Stephanie, Amelia and Vicki; granddaughter-in-law, Daphne; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Melanie, Whitney, James, John and Emily; step-great-grandchildren, Tucker and Dillon; a special nephew, Butch Langner, and a host of nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Richard Whiteheart will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
