Marcy Rae Gordon, 62, of Hayes, died Nov. 8, 2012 at her home.

Marcy was of Methodist faith, and was a receptionist for the office of Dr. C. Louise Kirk for a number of years. She enjoyed reading, camping and family. While her sons attended school she was very active as a tutor and volunteer in the school system.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Olga Johnson, and a brother, Bryce Norby.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Gordon; sons, Andy Gordon and wife Bethany, Jay Gordon; father, Trygue Norby; sister, Sharon Lawsen and husband Gerald; brothers, Carl Norby and wife Gloria, and Randy Norby and wife Joan.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Scott Pond were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family received friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Interment for Marcy will be in her beloved North Dakota at a later date.
