The body of a man in his mid 30s was recovered from the waters of Milford Haven on Thursday, Dec. 8, according to Acting Mathews County Sheriff Sid Foster.

The man, whom Foster said was a Mexican national, was found in the vicinity of Sea Farms. The body was transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner in Richmond to determine a cause of death, Foster said.

There was identification on the body, but Foster said Tuesday morning that the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the name pending the notification of next of kin.

"We’re still investigating it at this time," he said.
