Manager, lot supervisor named at auto sales firm

3 Guys Auto Sales, located on Route 17, Ordinary, has made two recent staff changes.

Owner James "Bud" Merritt recently promoted Virginia E. Bonacci of Ware Neck, to operations manager. Merritt said he thinks Bonacci, at age 18, is probably the youngest operations manager for a business in Gloucester. Her duties include general office work, sales, and collections. She has worked at 3 Guys for two years.

Also, Merritt said Bobby Sturgeon of White Marsh, recently joined the staff as superintendent of lot affairs. Sturgeon has five years’ automotive experience, having once worked for a dealership in Newport News.
Previously, Sturgeon owned a painting business for 15 years and also was a district manager for the Daily Press for seven years. Sturgeon has four children and six grandchildren. Merritt said Jeff Gaddis of Gloucester, works there part-time as a mechanic.
