Mamie Inez Davis, age 90, widow of Clarence Elmer Davis Jr., of Port Haywood, departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023. Survivors include daughter, Tongie Davis-White (Darryl); sister, Barbara Daniel; brother-in-law, Randolph Davis; six nieces and five nephews, cousins and best friend, Troy Johnson. She was born on April 9, 1932 in Susan, Va., to the late Willie A. and Nancy E. Johnson. Until her retirement as an LPN, her purpose in life was always caring for others.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Apostle Steven Forrest at noon on Feb. 19, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church, Susan. Viewing will be from 10 a.m.-noon, on the day of service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
