MALVIN CLAYTON MARSHALL

A graveside funeral service with military honors was held for Malvin Clayton Marshall, 81, of Newport News, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery, Ordinary. He died Oct. 23, 2014.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was the owner of Marshall’s Small Engine Repair, Tabb, for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Virginia Marshall.

Survivors include his daughter, Virginia J. Robens; two sons, Donald Marshall and William Marshall; brother, Lum Marshall Jr.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.

The service was conducted by Pastor Ike Addington.

Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, was in charge.
