Cole Malise of Mathews, is the president of Malise Marine Sales and Service (dba Friday’s Marine) located at 14879 George Washington Memorial Highway in Saluda. He worked there for three years and then purchased the business.

His business offers boat repairs, boat trailer service, marine electronics installations, and is also a Suzuki dealer.

Malise grew up watching his dad run various businesses and learned about the business from the previous owner, Phil Friday.

“My dad has helped me out a lot with getting me started and giving good advice,” she said.

Challenges Malise has faced include learning how to run a business and learning better organizational skills. A current challenge he is facing is product delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Malise is a Mathews High School graduate.
