According to GHS coach Peter Lebel, Gloucester Dukes now move to nine wins with one loss and three ties, and are now ranked third in the Bay Rivers District, as well as in Region 4A.

On Monday night, the Dukes matched against Smithfield, winning 4-3. A goal was scored in the first half of the game by Bell and in the second half by Williams, Gavin Seitz (who also made an assist) and Skay.

Coach Lebel said this was a huge win for GHS, as Smithfield had been first in the district and in the region, and this was its first loss of the year. “Fantastic display of grit and determination by the boys,” he said.
