Hundreds of children and adults filled Gloucester’s Main Street on Monday night for the annual Gloucester Main Street Association’s Main Street Trick or Treat. More than 35 businesses and organizations handed out candy and goodies to the children who stopped by and the road was closed to provide a safer environment for participants. In Mathews, the Main Street Trick or Treat Parade was on Saturday, with children visiting downtown stores and participating in activities at the library.
