Main Street Trick or Treat comes to Gloucester

Ghouls and goblins will be wandering the streets tomorrow night, as well as zombies, superheroes, Star Wars characters, football players and countless other costumed children, all looking for Halloween treats.

Gloucester County officials have established a trick-or-treat time frame of 6-8:30 p.m. Friday. It is also recommended that trick-or-treating be limited to children ages 12 and younger, under adult supervision. No specific times have been set in Mathews, but it can be assumed that the bulk of Halloween trick-or-treating will take place during those hours as well.

Organized events are a safe way for children to enjoy Halloween, and several events are planned in Gloucester and Mathews. The Gloucester Main Street Association will host its Main Street Trick or Treat from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
