Motorists should expect brief delays today and Friday on Main Street in Gloucester for utility and permit work.
The work will be underway from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on a single, right lane on Route 17 near Main Street, said Darragh Copley Frye, a spokesperson for the Virginia Department of Transportation.
