Madison Ashley Carter of Disputanta, 16-year-old beloved daughter of Billy and Shannon Carter, was carried to heaven by the angels on Sept. 27, 2017.

Madison, a student in her Junior year at Prince George High School, enjoyed theater, science and French classes. She loved to collect crystals and jewels and especially loved going to the beach. Madison was friendly, intelligent and loved her parents. She will be so missed.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William Carter.

She is survived by her parents, Billy and Shannon; maternal grandparents, Terry and Barbara Davidson; paternal grandmother, Doris Carter; uncle, Terry Davidson Jr., along with many friends.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Terry Simone was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, from 7- 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
